Assynt House is an award winning, exclusive use wedding venue offering couples a completely bespoke, small castle experience, with in-house catering and expert assistance in planning your special day.
Weddings at Assynt House are all individual and we love working with you to create your perfect day. We offer three types of weddings at Assynt House; Micro weddings for 14, House Parties up to 50 and Marquee weddings up to 120, each work brilliantly in this peaceful and secluded setting.
Accommodation at Assynt House is included in the wedding rental, with seven en-suite bedrooms and daily housekeeping, there is a two night minimum stay for weddings or you can choose to stay longer and take all the time you need to celebrate together.

We are so lucky in Scotland that you can marry wherever you wish. We can accommodate weddings outside on the terraced lawn or inside in the wood panelled drawing room (up to 50).
You can choose a humanist, civil, religious wedding, whichever best reflects you as a couple, you will find Assynt House to be a very special place to get married.

Your Wedding Menu
It is so important to us that your wedding meal is excellent. Catering is taken care of in-house; Graham Waugh creates a wedding menu to suit you, with any favourites you would like to incorporate.
You can browse our sample wedding menus to get an idea of the food we offer and then your menu is carefully put together in collaboration you.
Canapés, Evening Food and Breakfasts can all be provided. Dietary requirements are always catered for and Children’s Meals are also available.
