From the first moment you step through the front door of Assynt House you will be made to feel at home. Simply the perfect holiday house to relax and do your own thing, Assynt House is a great base to explore the Highlands of Scotland and the NC500.
We have 7 en-suite bedrooms which can accommodate up to 14 as well as cots and fold-away beds for younger children. All of our beds are Super-king and four of our bedrooms can be made into twin beds, as required.
We Love the Extra Little Touches
We love providing all the little things which go a long way to making your stay more pleasurable. Arranging fresh flowers throughout the house, magazines and books for browsing. Our beds have Super king *Feather Duvets and Pillows to sink in to. Organic Scottish Toiletries can be found in your bathrooms as well as bath toys for little ones.

Assynt House has 7 en-suite Bedrooms and our discrete, complimentary daily housekeeping keeps on top of the household jobs leaving you more time for togetherness.

Bedrooms are spacious and well equipped, the house has a large drawing room with log fires, comfy sofas and a large dining table.
There is a sitting room and TV room with Netflix. Board games are plentiful as are toys and books for the children.
Assynt House has been awarded 5 stars from the Scottish tourist board for over eighteen years. The house has a lovely warm feel and is beautifully maintained and enhanced each year.

Assynt House has received a 100% cleanliness score from Visit Scotland year after year, this means overall cleanliness is of a 5 star standard. We have an enhanced cleaning protocol in place during the pandemic which ensures a 2 phase clean.
