Whisky Tours

Tain's Glenmorangie Whisky is made by the Sixteen Men of Tain on the picturesque shores of the Dornoch Firth. They offer tours of the distillery and a taster session afterwards. Try some of the different cask finishes. 

Balblair Distillery, Edderton, Tain. Founded in 1790, Balblair is the second oldest working distillery in the industry. Balblair will also come to Assynt House for a personal tasting experience, please contact us to find out more.

Tomatin Distillery, founded in 1897, the distillery boasts 12 stills and at one time had the largest capacity of any whisky distillery in the world.

Glen Ord Distillery, Muir of Ord. Watch the distillers at work creating malt whisky. Guided distillery offers guided distillery tours, special tasting tours, an exhibition, and a shop selling
rare malts.
